What counts as a message?
A message is a single exchange in a conversation: one user message plus one bot response. System prompts, moderation checks, and webhook events do not count toward your limit.
Can I use my own OpenAI or Anthropic API keys?
Absolutely. On Pro and Business plans, you can bring your own API keys. Your keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. This means you pay your LLM provider directly and can take advantage of any volume discounts you already have.
What happens when I exceed my message limit?
Your chatbot will gracefully let visitors know it has reached its limit for the period. No surprise charges. You can upgrade your plan or wait for the next billing cycle. We also send you an email alert at 80% usage.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any point. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new plan's features. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at your next billing date.
